SYNOPSIS
Rei is an immigrant who has just won the Green Card Lottery (US Diversity Program). Her introversion leads her to a life of solitude and mundanity until two fateful encounters. Rei finds love with the dashing Kazu and miraculously reconnects with her long lost sister Sunyi. But is all what it seems to be? Set in contemporary New York’s sprawling Chinatown, this gritty tale explores inner city immigrant life, survival in a foreign land and the fragility of the human psyche.
